Service Description

This comprehensive introductory course is specifically designed for individuals with little to no prior experience with handguns, as well as those seeking to reinforce their foundational skills and build confidence. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of: • Firearm Safety – Learn and apply the core principles of responsible gun ownership and handling • Handgun Mechanics – Become familiar with the components, functions, and safe operation of various handgun types • Marksmanship Fundamentals – Develop proper stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, and follow-through • Missouri Firearm Laws – Introduction to laws regarding use of force, concealed carry considerations and restrictions, etc. Course Highlights: • Interactive Classroom Instruction – Hands-on learning with inert training tools to build comfort and competence before handling live firearms • Live Fire Session – Supervised range time to apply what you've learned in a controlled, safe setting • Coaching – Individualized attention to ensure each student progresses at their own pace By the end of the course, students will possess the confidence and capability to safely load, unload, handle, and fire a handgun with accuracy and control. This course occurs at two locations (Classroom and Gun Range): Classroom: Chesterfield, MO (Address to be provided via email) Gun Range: The Range STL West (14803 Manchester Rd Ballwin, MO 63011) BONUS: You are able to add an additional certification to this course. NOTE: This additional certification is not required to obtain your Missouri CCW Permit. By selecting the "MO CCW + NRA Basic Pistol" option, you will also receive the NRA's Basic Pistol Shooting Course certification and material.
